Traineeship (Certificate III or IV)

About the business and the role

South West Slopes Credit Union’s head office is  located in Young NSW and has branches in Cootamundra, Temora and West Wyalong, as well as an agency at Harden and provides banking services to over 13,000 members.

We are looking for a proactive person to join our member service team on a 12 month traineeship.  You will be responsible for assisting members with their day to day banking needs and promoting Credit Union products and services.

Skills and experience

You will have:

  • An ability to communicate with a wide range of people;
  • An ability to work as part of a team;
  • An honest and reliable character;
  • An ability to pay attention to detail;
  • The confidence to promote Credit Union products and services;
  • A good standard of computer literacy;

Job benefits

On the job training is provided, gaining a nationally recognised qualification in one of the following courses:

  • Certificate III in Financial Services FNS30115
  • Certificate IV in Financial Services FNS41815
  • Certificate IV in Banking Services FNS42015

Salary including leave loading and Superannuation Guarantee Contribution will be in accordance with the Banking, Finance and Insurance Award 2010.
